Our Story
We were two different individuals on our own journeys of seeking and knowing Christ, desiring to serve Him and be His vessels. In His perfect timing, the Lord led us both to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where our paths crossed at Refuge Fellowship and He began writing our story together. As we prepare to marry, we do so with hearts committed to Him, trusting His guidance for the life we will build together.

I come from a small town in Bishramganj, India, born and raised in a Baptist family. Though I grew up in church, I was dead in sin—living a double life and chasing the desires of the flesh, as if in the gutters. But God, in His mercy, saved me and gave me new life in Christ. Since then, my heart has longed to serve Him and to find someone who shared the same calling. I often prayed through Proverbs 31:30, even wondering if my standard was too high. Yet, in His perfect timing, God brought Alyssa into my life. She is the answer to my prayers, and together we desire to serve the Lord. Her humility and servant heart inspire me every day to love Him faithfully.

“Trust in the Lord…” has been the theme and challenge of my life. In 2020, I left behind my home, friends, and family in the United States to move to Southeast Asia. While there are many details to my story, the heart of it is simple: I knew the Lord was calling me to serve Him and His people. I didn’t have all the answers, but I knew I had to follow His call. For 32 years, I prayed and waited for a partner who loved the Lord and shared the same desire to serve Him. In July 2024, I met Stephen. Over the months of friendship and learning each other’s hearts, I realized he was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. His love and dedication to the Lord strengthen my faith and inspire me daily. I cannot wait to walk this journey together and continue following God’s call on our lives.

Wedding Details
After much prayer, waiting, and planning, we felt led by the Lord to celebrate our wedding here in Chiang Mai, and just as we had dreamed, He graciously provided a beautiful venue in Mae Rim at I Love Flower Farm. Alyssa has always desired to be married in a flower farm, and in His perfect timing, the Lord faithfully answered our prayers.
Accommodation
To our friends traveling to Chiang Mai, we will be happy to assist you with recommendations and help in arranging your accommodation.
Live Stream
For those who are unable to attend due to personal or health reasons, we are prayerfully planning to provide a live stream so you can still be part of the celebration. If you would like to join online, please let us know.
What to Wear
Blue is our favorite color, but please know that you are absolutely welcome to wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
Parking Area
Parking is available at the venue, with on-site parking assistance provided, and our friends will also be there to help guide you.
Food & Drinks
We will be serving a mix of Thai, Indian, American, and other Asian cuisines for everyone to enjoy.
